Clarinet Reed Variety Pack, 5 x D’Addario (Rico) Clarinet Reeds Selection Mix Sax Shack Gift Brand new unused reeds. Taken from a full box of reeds and combined to make up this exciting selection.

This fantastic value variety pack includes one each of the following five reeds:
1 x Rico Orange – The Rico ‘Orange’ cut is unfiled and features a thinner profile and blank. Rico “Orange Box” reeds vibrate easily. They are a favorite among jazz musicians and are ideal for students.

1 x D’Addario Reserve – Reserve German Cut is unfiled and features a narrower blank and blank taper. This reed is designed specifically for German mouthpieces, however it is also suitable for use on French mouthpieces, as well as Eb clarinet and early period instruments.

1 x Royal – The D’Addario Royal reed combines the features of the traditional Rico cut with a French file. Designed for advancing players, Rico Royal offers an even response across the registers and more clarity in the sound.

1 x Mitchell Lurie – these reeds are ideal for the advancing student. They are filed and feature a thinner tip for ease of response combined with a thicker spine. The result is a more resistant reed with a warmer sound. (See ‘Strength Options’ below)

1 x Reserve Classic – D’Addario’s most revolutionary cut, is unfiled and features a narrower blank taper and more gradual tip shape, offering the most precise articulation and flexibility. The Reserve Classic reed is suited for a wide range of symphonic and solo playing styles, and has a dark sound with a wide color palette. Reserve Classic reeds are made from thick blank, lower-internode cane; lower-internode cane comes from the first four tubes of the cane stalk, yielding greater consistency from reed to reed.
