Selmer Mark VI Tenor 1963 Brass Gold Lacquered Saxophone****SOLD****
Selling on behalf of current owner.
A great opportunity to take ownership of this Mark VI tenor.
The sax was built in 1963 and has that ‘seen a lot of life’ look about it. The lacquer is original and overall is covered with signs of wear and blemishes (see images) which aren’t out of place for a sax of this vintage and it certainly does not affect it’s playability. This sax sneaks along with the disguise of an old horn but is really a wolf in sheeps clothing as you can’t hide the Mark VI character that lurks below.
If you like the ‘well worn’ vintage look then maybe this ones for you.
The pads are excellent and there are no dents.
This Mark VI works really well and has all the qualities that has made this sax legendary.
Viewing recommended but please arrange in advance as this instrument is stored off-site.
Includes: SKB shaped hard Case in excellent condition. No mouthpiece included but there are plenty available for separate purchase in the Shop.
