A great opportunity to take ownership of this nice example of the Mark VI tenor. The sax was built in 1974 and at some point in it’s life has been totally de-lacquered
The sax is in overall great condition but the original neck has been replaced (see images); this does not affect it’s playability in any way and a combination of the sax, the neck and no lacquer have evolved this sax into a very useable instrument that has a lovely tone and great flexibility.
The pads are all in good condition and there are no major dents or dings. There are signs of use and age around the bottom of the bell but this is hardly noticeable and does not affect it at all. There is no top F#.
This Mark VI works really well and has all the qualities that has made this sax legendary. It also looks fantastic (if you like the ‘aged’ look of an un-lacquered instrument).
Viewing recommended but please arrange in advance as this instrument is stored off-site.
Includes: Original Selmer Case in excellent condition plus Jacob Winter shaped hard case. No mouthpiece included but there are plenty available for separate purchase in the Shop.
