Yamaha YTS-62 Purple Logo Tenor Saxophone – Japan. ***SOLD *** Selling on behalf of the current owner. The title says it all. Yamaha’s excellent, now vintage, Purple Logo saxophones are reputed to be some of the best that they ever produced. Here we have a very clean example with good pads and a beautiful golden, quality, lacquer. The lacquer condition is A1 all over apart from a few minor scratches and signs of wear next to the next strap link on the left hand side of the body (see image). It has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced and is ready to go.
Plays very nicely and is easy to blow. Includes: Sax, neck, Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, ligature, brass cap and new pad saver. The original, blue lined, case is in excellent condition and even has the original keys so it is lockable.
This is a very nice example of a very sought after model. Build year believed to be 1982.
